MIG/MAG welder — Cass County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Cass County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
