The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
