Aluminium installer — Comal County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium installer in Comal County, Texas. The job is at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows Your main tasks: • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
