Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses The role involves: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
