Great opportunity: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice Your main tasks: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid 5+ years on the tools preferred.
