Immediate opening: argon welder (Nebraska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Holt County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
