Gas appliance installer wanted in City of Colonial Heights

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in City of Colonial Heights, Virginia. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Driving licence for travel between sites On the job you will handle: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
