Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day to day you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
