On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
