Pressman — Sumter County

Join our team: we are hiring a pressman in Sumter County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
