Lifting rigger • Taos County, New Mexico

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Taos County, New Mexico. You will work at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $150 per day plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
