Brick mason — City of Manassas Park

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in City of Manassas Park, Virginia. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets On a typical shift you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
