Powder coating technician wanted in Somerset County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Somerset County, Maryland. The job is in a busy paint shop. What we are looking for: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process On the job you will handle: • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns Full-time with occasional weekends. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
