Now hiring: we are hiring a guest service agent in Luton, England. You will be based in a hostel or budget hotel. What we are looking for: • Confident using a PMS (Opera, Fidelio, Protel or similar) • Calm under pressure when the desk is busy or a guest is upset • Basic knowledge of local attractions, transport and restaurants Your main tasks: • Balance the cash float and run the shift report at end of shift • Provide directions, local recommendations and tourist information • Check guests in and out using the property management system (PMS) • Handle same-day, online and phone reservations • Prepare welcome folders and key cards for arriving guests At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. £2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
