We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, England. You will work at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 6+ years on the tools preferred.
