Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Shani, Borno State. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion.
