Gas installation technician wanted in Sangamon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Sangamon County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate 5+ years on the tools preferred.
