Vacancy available: steel fixing chargehand (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Comanche County, Kansas. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Your main tasks: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
