Cnc turning machinist — Crawford County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Crawford County, Illinois. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; load and index turning tools in the turret. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Part-time with flexible hours.
