Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Hardin County, Kentucky. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Full-time, day shift.
