Concrete worker • Madison County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete worker in Madison County, North Carolina. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours You will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
