Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in McMullen County, Texas. You will work at a roofing and cladding contractor. The role involves: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Full-time with occasional weekends. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
