MIG welder — Gudu

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG welder in Gudu, Sokoto State. The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
