Urgent requirement: aluminium tig welder (South Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Calhoun County, South Carolina. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day to day you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
