Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Jackson County, Kentucky. You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
