Urgent requirement: we are hiring an electrical maintenance fitter in City of Newport News, Virginia. The role involves isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working; wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards; crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands; read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; dress and terminate wiring inside control panels; measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter. What we are looking for: • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • Normal colour vision for cable identification Full-time with occasional weekends.
