Join our team: we are hiring a packer in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling Day-to-day duties: • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack • Feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams • Wipe down and sanitise the line following hygiene rules • Weigh and portion products before bagging • Change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer • Shrink-wrap trays and stretch-wrap finished pallets 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
