Great opportunity: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Barton County, Kansas. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Six days a week, one day off.
