Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Douglas County, Missouri. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing On the job you will handle: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
