Lifting rigger wanted in Redcar and Cleveland

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Redcar and Cleveland, England. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around £2,300 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours.
