Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Crittenden County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
