Reinforcement fitter wanted in Beauregard Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules 2+ years on the tools preferred.
