Refrigeration installation technician • City of Portsmouth, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. You will be based at a busy refrigeration workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Part-time with flexible hours.
