Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Northumberland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Northumberland County, Virginia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Able to grind and set HSS cutters At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
