Brick mason • Nsit Ibom, Akwa Ibom State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Nsit Ibom, Akwa Ibom State. You will work on a new-build development. Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 3+ years on the tools preferred.
