Fabricator-welder • Mangu, Plateau State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Mangu, Plateau State. On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
