Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Butts County, Georgia. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. What we are looking for: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing On a typical shift you will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. We offer $240 per day plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
