Join our team: health and safety supervisor (Mississippi)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Jasper County, Mississippi. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Six days a week, one day off.
