Mosaic tiler — Saint Tammany Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Saint Tammany Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Your main tasks: • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges Full-time with occasional weekends.
