Fire and safety officer wanted in Licking County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Licking County, Ohio. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. You will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
