Horticulturist • Parke County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Parke County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $32 per hour plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
