Collision repair technician wanted in Western Connecticut Planning Region

Great opportunity: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based in an insurance-approved repair centre. What we are looking for: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Your main tasks: • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
