Gantry crane operator • Campbell County, South Dakota

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Campbell County, South Dakota. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. You will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends.
