Dogger wanted in Obot Akara

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Obot Akara, Akwa Ibom State. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Day-to-day duties: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
