Auto painter • San Juan County, Washington

Vacancy available: we are hiring an auto painter in San Juan County, Washington. You will be based at a busy body shop. Your main tasks: • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
