Occupational health and safety officer — Russell County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Russell County, Alabama. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Day to day you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
