Concrete labourer • Louisa County, Iowa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Louisa County, Iowa. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day to day you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
