Immediate opening: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Part-time with flexible hours.
