Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Towns County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
