Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in Mason County, West Virginia. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
